Allegedly What May Have Happened: Vehicle Strikes Two People On Bicycles/Flees The Accident Scene
Alleged Approx. Location: in front of 4781 E Rockton Rd, Walmart, Roscoe/Rockton
Alleged Approx. Time: 10:40 am
At approximately 10:40 this morning emergency personnel were called to the area in front of the Walmart located at 4781 E Rockton Road, in the Roscoe/Rockton area, for reports that a vehicle struck two females riding on bicycles.
Initial reports are that the victims struck were a mother with her teenage daughter. The vehicle involved, being described as a truck, allegedly fled the accident scene after striking the two cyclists.
Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and transported them to a local hospital.
Reports are that the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
We will update as further information becomes available.
Avoid the area awhile or expect possible delays.
