What May Have Allegedly Happened.
Based on the current information
That has currently been provided to us.
This just happened, Police have not yet had the chance to investigate to release info.
When they do, we will update this.
Sources are reporting a major scene on Rockford’s East side.
It happened just after 6 pm
In the area of Charles and 20th.
Initial reports are saying a vehicle was traveling at a very high rate of speed,
When it crashed.
Three vehicles were reported to be involved.
When emergency personnel arrived on scene,
They located a shooting victim.
Unconfirmed reports are saying the shooting victim was self transporting to a nearby hospital,
When they crashed.
The vehicle that hit the pole,
Appears to have at least 1 bullet hole on the side of that vehicle.
Again , this just happened.
So the police have not yet had the time to investigate, to release info.
Avoid the area for awhile.

Officers are at Charles St and 20th St investigating a shooting.
An adult male has sustained multiple gunshot wounds while driving and ultimately collided with another vehicle.
Please avoid this area until we can clear the scene.
