2/28/23
Yesterday we had reports of a major scene on the East side near Sandy Hollow and 20th.
Sources told us that scene, was the arrest of the suspect that allegedly shot 4 people at Onyx.
Note:
There was a 5th shooting victim, but the 5th victim declined medical treatment.
That suspect arrested is 31 year old is Jimmie Lee Rogers.
Police arrested him near Sandy Hollow and 20th.
Sources are reporting multiple shooting victims at a Machesney park business
It happened around 1 am near the Onyx Bar on West ln, near 251.
Sources are reporting multiple people have been shot.
Three confirmed shooting victims.
Unconfirmed reports said there was a possible 4th shooting victim,
But the alleged 4th victim was not located on scene.
And was self transported to a local ER, by a private vehicle.
Suspect is a Black male wearing a Red shirt.
Fled in a Green Nissan at a high rate of speed.
WCSO have not yet released any information to confirm anything

And NUMEROUS emergency personnel were on scene.
Witnesses said just prior to the shooting, the bar was full and everyone was having a great time.
Then a small argument happened, and within seconds all hell broke loose. Shots were being fired.
And the person next to her was shot and on the ground not moving. She fled for cover.
UPDATE: A total of 4 victims were shot.
One of the victims is fighting for their life.
Suspect is still on the loose.
As much as we hate asking for donations.
