Sources are reporting a special aircraft
Will be at the Rockford Airport later on today!
The Rockford Airport hosts large aircraft all the time.
But we are being told a Boeing 747-400 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF),
Is scheduled to land approx. 1:15-1:45 today
This is an International flight, times may vary.
Large aircraft that land at the Rockford Airport,
Usually use the runway 7/25.
7/25 are the runways that run West/East
*Again, with aircraft things are dynamic and they may use 1/19.
Be sure to listen to these frequencies:
- 118.100
- 121.000
- 126.000
At the time of writing this.
Sources told us that a Boeing 747-481 BCF
Owned by Air Atlanta Icelandic (MAGMA)
With a tail number of TF-AMC
Took off from Belgium around 5 am CST,
and was headed for the Rockford Airport.
Sources said it has been traveling at 33,000 feet.
And was traveling approx. 550 MPH cruising speed.
It is a 4,200 mile route.
Which takes over 8 hours to fly.
Get your cameras ready planespotters!
Sources said that it will probably be parked near the International cargo terminal.
The jumbo jet is specially converted 747, the Boeing Converted Freighter
Or better known as the 747-400 BCF.
Sadly, some of them have already been retired to the boneyard.
Be sure to get on out to the Rockford Airport with your camera
