Rockford PD released the following information:

On Saturday, October 29, 2022, at approximately 5:55 p.m., Rockford Police officers,
Responded to Zuly Hair Cuts at 4332 Sandy Hollow for reports of a gunshot victim.

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from an apparent non- life-threatening gunshot wound. Witnesses advised that they observed a black male wearing a ski mask enter the business, and proceed to shoot once toward the juvenile. The suspect exited the business and fled in a dark-colored SUV.
