My opinion on what may have possibly happened,
Based on the information that has been currently provided:
Sources are reporting an automobile accident in Winnebago County.
Sources are reporting that the automobile accident happened last night, just before 10 pm
In the neighborhood of E State Street and Alpine.
A few reports said a panhandler was hit.
Other reports said it was 2 vehicles.
So it is unclear exactly who/what was involved.
Sources are reporting that it appears that there might be possible injuries.
It is unknown on the severity of the injuries at this time.
Medical was on scene.
Rockford PD have confirmed an accident,
but have not released any details.
