Reports of an alleged shooting on Rockford’s East side
Informes de un presunto tiroteo en el lado este de Rockford
Sources are reporting a major scene on the East side.
It is currently ongoing,
Near Alpine and Newburg.
Sources said they heard multiple gunshots.
And reported what they thought they saw,
Was what appeared to be
3 alleged shooting victims.
Sources have reported no injuries, and others have reported up to 3.
Sadly, Rockford PD chooses to remain silent.
Several sources are reporting multiple police are on scene.
And that the crime scene tape is up.
With evidence markers on the ground.
And that at least 1 nearby hospital
Was reportedly to allegedly be on lockdown.
And you know what that means…
As you know with the police,
They NEVER release information,
Unless they absolutely have too.
So, do not expect any information from them.
If they do, I would be shocked.
And I would update this.
No update = Police chose to once again to
withhold vital information from our community…
