Police Offer Reward to Keep Streets Safe
The Rockford Illinois Police Department is offering a $200 reward for tips that lead to an arrest or confiscation of ATVs or other off-road vehicles.
How can you help?
Send us the location of the offender/vehicle. This also includes vehicles being stored.
Include as much information as possible (name, address, etc.).
If you see them gassing up at a local gas station, please notify us with the gas station name and address.
Photos and videos can also be sent and are appreciated. We also appreciate being told if they’re driving down your street, but it’s hard to catch the offenders before they are out of the area.
How do you send in a tip?
TEXT: Text RPDTIP and your tip to 847411. If your tip leads to confiscation or arrest, we will reach out to you for contact information, otherwise, the tip will remain anonymous.

For emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 815-966-2900.
For tips sent in Sunday through Saturday, they will be paid out the following Thursday. A representative from the Rockford Police Department will contact the tipster once parameters are confirmed.
