Rockford PD Release:

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, at approximately 4:20 p.m.,

Rockford Police officers responded to
the 1000 block of Michigan Avenue

for reports of a 6-year-old boy struck
by a vehicle while riding his bicycle.

He was transported to a local hospital for
serious injuries and is listed as stable.

The driver called 911 and remained at the scene of the crash.
