My opinion on what allegedly may have possibly happened,
Based on the information that has been currently provided:
At approximately 5:05 this evening emergency personnel were called to the area of W Jefferson Street and N Court Street for reports a vehicle has hit a pedestrian.
Initial reports are a female pedestrian was hit and laying in the roadway but she was conscious.
The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.
Avoid the area or expect possible delays.
