Good afternoon, guys and gals.
There are multiple photos in this article.
So, I am breaking this whole article, into multiple paragraphs
So, you can view the scene photos.
I feel as a citizen, that we deserve
honesty and transparency from our local police and officials.
So, I think that I should first start by
acknowledging and thanking our first responders
for their hard work and transparency on this shooting.
After Rockford PD knew I was on scene.
The Rockford PD did release brief info.
Shortly afterwards. Thank You.

It appears the actual shooting took place on Eddy rd,
in front of the Siffron building.
That is located West of North Main. On Eddy rd.
Rockford Police Crime Scene investigators
were collecting evidence in the roadway and nearby.
That appeared to allegedly be several shell casings.
Rockford PD has not publicly acknowledged this second scene.
That was located just North of the Auburn and Main
Veterans Memorial roundabout.
On N Main, in the southbound lanes, near Vernon st.
A dark colored Impala was surrounded by the Rockford Police.
Several officers were on scene investigating this incident.
As you can clearly see in the photos above,
medical supplies laying in the roadway.
And multiple bullet holes in the vehicle.
Initial reports are saying that there was 1 shooting
victim that was in the processes of self-transporting.
But stopped near N Main and Vernon to seek medical attention.
The victim is alleged to be approx. 21 years old.
And was shot in the arm. And the injuries are believed to be,
however not confirmed, Non-Life-Threatening injuries.
I do not know if a child was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
But there was a child’s car seat, in the rear passenger side of the vehicle.
And that is where it appears the alleged bullet holes went into.
I was photographing two different scenes,
That police have not officially said are connected.
You know that saying,
I am not saying it is aliens.
But it is aliens!
(Sorry for the UFO joke)
But that it is what it reminds me of.
There are 2 scenes that definitely appear to be connected.
But they will not admit it.
After Rockford PD saw me on scene.
The Rockford PIO officer did release
brief information shortly afterwards.

SHOOTING INVESTIGATION:
21-year-old man shot in the arm near Main and Eddy.
Transported to a local hospital for his non-life-threatening injury.
This is an active and ongoing investigation and further details will be posted when available.
