Multiple Shooting
Incidents Were Reported:
Sources are reporting multiple shooting incidents.
Sources said around 9 pm last night that
Approx. 7 shots were fired in the Orton Keys.
4 shots, then silence than 3 more shots.
There are no reports of any shooting victims.
However, there are lots of reports of property damages.
Later on,
There were reports of another shooting incident.
This one happened around 9:15 pm
In the 4400 block of Carthage.
That is near Alpine and Harrison.
There are reports that 1 alleged shooting victim,
And possible 2nd alleged shooting victim
That Self-transported to the ER
And then around 10:15 pm there were reports
Of multiple shots fired
in the 500 block of Webster.
No reports of any shooting victims.
A few reports said a vehicle and a house was shot.
Then just before 1 AM,
There were reports of another shooting incident,
In the 5400 block of Midvale.
That is approx. 800 feet
From the Rockford PD District HQ.
No injuries or damages were reported.
Rockford PD has been somewhat transparent.
They have become more honest in their call logs these days.
And logging incidents properly, as battery with a weapon.

And it does appear that the officers have been
working pretty hard, via their call logs.
Based on their call logs,
They have responded to 1524 calls
in the last 72 hours.
So, I have to extend an apology
And acknowledge the Rockford PD
for their hard work and due diligence these days.
