Faith & Blue Event in Rockford – October 12
ROCKFORD, IL – Join us alongside other local law enforcement agencies and faith-
based organizations at the first-ever Faith & Blue Event in Rockford on Saturday,
October 12, 2024. This amazing night at First Covenant Church will be filled with
inspiration, community, and faith.
What is Faith & Blue? Faith & Blue ( www.faithandblue.org ) is based on the premise
that strong communities are built through mutual respect and understanding. Law
enforcement and faith institutions are key pillars of each community, and when they work
together, neighborhoods thrive. You can expect a night filled with faith, love, and respect
and musical guests including The Gospel Minister Mervin Mayo. You may have

The Rockford community has seen our share of tragedies in the last year and this is a
night for all of us to come together to continue to heal. When law enforcement
professionals and community members can relate as ordinary people with shared
values, hopes, and dreams, we can find ways to work together around our many
commonalities instead of being divided by our differences.
