Hours later, and not a peep from Rockford PD on this.
First and foremost,
let’s talk about Rockford PD trying to cover up violent crimes.
For awhile, they were transparent.
Sadly, Rockford PD decided to be go back to being shady…
They logged a person being shot in the head, as an “In Progress”
So, in the future, if you see an “In Progress” in the logs.

You, know it is a shooting.
Rockford PD should be ashamed of themselves
For this non-transparency with our community
Sadly, we are getting reports that one person has been shot in the head.
In the 700 block of Regan this morning.
Again, Rockford PD chooses to encrypt and remain SILENT with our community!
And log violent crimes behind a vague term in their logs
“In Progress”
All these shootings???
