On Thursday, June 13, 2024 at approximately 2:47 pm, Cherry Valley police officers responded
to a report of a 2-car crash at Harrison Avenue/South Mall Drive. Upon arrival, officers learned
that the driver of one of the vehicles fled on foot. After a short time, officers located the driver
of the vehicle, Lucas R. Baker (29-years old), in the area of Mulford Road/Charles Street.
Subsequent to locating Lucas, he was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash
and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
