Sources are reporting an alleged shooting incident
on Rockford’s East side early this morning.
Details are dynamic and please keep everyone
involved in your thoughts and prayers.
Initial reports were saying that approximately 5:30 am
there were alleged gunshots in the 1500 block of 20th st.
At that there were alleged reports of property damages to a vehicle.
The vehicle was struck in the hood area.
No reports of any physical injuries.
Many sources were reporting many officers working another scene.
That was an alleged shooting scene near Broadway and 24th
It is allegedly related to this incident.
Sounds like the victim was able to escape to safety
and meet with police near that location.
Unconfirmed reports are saying that the
alleged suspect might have been apprehended.
But Rockford PD have not released
any information at this time, to confirm it.
Sources said that this was the alleged suspect that was detained by Rockford PD.
Again, Rockford PD have not yet confirmed anything.
And he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
