Based on the current information that has been provided to us.

Allegedly What May Have Happened:    Shooting with multiple victims, either shot or battered

 Alleged Approx. Location:   3100 block of Prial Avenue 

 Alleged Approx. Time:   5:25 pm

At approximately 5:25 this afternoon/evening emergency personnel were called to the 3100 block of Prial Avenue, in Rockford, for reports of a incident involving a shooting with at least one shooting victim, a female battery victim and another man injured.

Initial reports are that an approximately 40 year old male has multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with possible life threatening injuries.

A second ambulance was dispatched to the scene for a female battery victim. The extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.

A third person, another male, reportedly was also requesting medical to have his hand checked out.

All three people were transported by ambulance to hospitals.

The details of the incident are unknown at this time, we will update as further information is released.

Avoid the area awhile as police are investigating.

PER RPD: Adult male was shot during a domestic incident this evening in the 3100 block of Prial Avenue. He is listed as critical at this time. There is no threat to the public.
