Project Update:

The Public Works Department releases the following information on the flushing operation
from 5/12/2024 to 5/18/24:

Residential Streets Flushed:
Forest Glen Drive Kaiser Lane Hampton Avenue
Tasselbury Cloe N. Trainer Road Windsong Road
Modesto Drive Fawnridge Drive Pepper Drive

Projected Flushing Locations:
During the week of 5/19/2024 to 5/25/24, the following streets are scheduled to be flushed:
Cheroakwood Lane Landau Place Burningtree Drive
Cardamon Lane Pepper Drive Sage Drive
Maria Linden Drive Applewood Drive Spring Lake Drive

If discolored water occurs, it is not a health hazard. However, during any flushing procedures,
iron (red water) and manganese (black water) may become stirred up within the water main,
which can create staining on the porcelain and laundry. This work may result in the disturbance
of sediment, possibly containing lead. It is advised that you flush your water lines for 1 – 2 minutes
once work is completed in your area including removing and cleaning faucet aerator screens to
remove sediment. For this reason, it is vital that the public be aware of the time and area that will
be affected.
