Allegedly What May Have Happened: Possible Barn fire
Alleged Approx. Location: 6700 block of N Main St/Winnebago County/NW Fire
Alleged Approx. Time: 4:50 pm
At approximately 4:50 this afternoon emergency personnel were called to the 6700 block of N Main Street by Northwest Fire for reports of a possible barn on fire in the area.
Initial reports are the barn structure was fully engulfed on arrival. It’s unknown if animals were residing in the structure.
A Mabas box 12 has been struck for mutual aid for this fire.
There have been no reports of any injuries as of writing this article…
We will update as further details are available.
Update: Multiple crews from multiple departments around Winnebago County and beyond arrived on scene. The large barn in the back of the property is reportedly looking like a total loss.
The fire is now under control.
It is still unknown if any animals or humans were harmed.
MD1 was said to also have been on scene.
