Roscoe Police Chief Jamie Evans, Has Passed Away

Roscoe PD released this information on Friday night at approx. 9 pm: 

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that the Roscoe Police Department
must forever say goodbye to Jamie Evans, whose second battle with cancer ended this evening.

Jamie served as Police Chief from 2008 until 2022.

We express our sincerest condolences to her family and hope for a measure of peace during this time of mourning.

Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming.

A visitation will be held for Jamie on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Roscoe United Methodist Church,
10816 Main St., Roscoe, IL 61073, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

The funeral service will take place on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Roscoe United Methodist Church.

A police escort will be from the church down to Honquest Family Funeral Home-Mulford Chapel in Loves Park.
