Sources are reporting a major scene on Rockford’s East side.
It is currently ongoing (3:15 pm)
In the neighborhood of 20th and 8th, down to 5th.
Police have the area swarmed with numerous police.
And a police K-9 and the police are using a drone.
We have been told a possible murder suspect fled from them.

We can only tell you that this appears to be a potentially dangerous situation.
And the police have chosen to once again, remain silent with our community.
As you know, the same ol song and dance:
Rockford PD chose to encrypt.
Rockford PD have chosen to not yet release any information to our community.
So, nothing is ever confirmed.
