CORBIN STREET WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT
The Corbin Street water main project began on September 20, 2023. Corbin Street is
currently closed from Tay Street to Cunningham Street for water main construction.
The intersection of Corbin Street & Cunningham Street is also included in this closure.
A detour route is in place. The Corbin Street water main project is scheduled to be
completed in the fall of 2023.
Citizens are urged to use an alternative route for the duration of this closure.
Please note all residences and businesses will remain accessible throughout this project.
The Corbin Street water main replacement project consists replacing 90-year-old 16”
water main, hydrants, valves, lead service lines, removal and replacement of drive
approaches, curb & gutter, and asphalt roadway. All disturbed areas of the project will
be restored upon completion of project.
All work is dependent on the proper weather conditions. Drivers are reminded to
obey work zone speed limits and to stay alert for workers when driving near the work
area.
