Allegedly What Happened: Another Shooting Victim
Alleged Location: Ranger St/Echo St/Orton Keyes
Alleged Time: 4:25 pm
At approximately 4:25 this afternoon emergency personnel were called to a third shooting victim reported in Rockford today, this one is alleged to have happened on Ranger Street and the victim went to the 2800 block of Echo Street for help/medical.
Details are minimal at this time but initial reports are this shooting victim was shot multiple times.
This is the third shooting in Rockford today that police and medical were dispatched to, the first shooting was at around 1:45 pm near/at the McDonald’s located at 3710 Auburn Street. One person was transported by ambulance from that shooting to a local hospital.
The second shooting was at around 2:25 pm near/at the Family Dollar, located at 715 Broadway. One person was transported by ambulance from that shooting to a local hospital.
Now a third shooting victim is being transported by ambulance to a local hospital after being shot multiple times in the area of Ranger Street/Echo Street.
We will update if police release any further information/updates…
Avoid these areas awhile.

RPD just released this info:
Officers are investigating a shooting in the 600 block of Ranger St. A juvenile male has sustained at least two gunshot wounds. His injuries are considered non-life threatening at this time. Please avoid this area while we process the scene and continue the investigation
