Allegedly What Happened: Battery with weapon victim
Alleged Location: 2200 block of Denver Dr
Alleged Time: 9:05 pm
At approximately 9:05 this evening emergency personnel were called to the 2200 block of Denver Drive in Rockford for reports of a battery (with a weapon) victim.
Initial reports are the battery victim was pistol whipped and sustained multiple head injuries.
Per ISPERN, the alleged suspect, a black male approximately 33 years old, wearing a White Sox jersey and black pants, fled the area in a 2012 Silver Jeep Wrangler, license plate #DX47105 (or similar).
The alleged suspect is armed with a black and brown 9mm pistol.
The alleged suspect was said to possibly be leaving the area and headed to Crystal Lake.
