Allegedly What May Have Happened: Vehicle Vs Building Accident
Location: S Main St & Salter Ave
Time: 9:00 pm
At approximately 9:00 this evening emergency personnel were called to the area of S Main Street and Salter Avenue for reports of a accident where one vehicle involved has collided with a building.
Initial reports are two ambulances are needed for the injured, the extent of injuries is unknown at this time, although none are believed to be life threatening.
Multiple people were transported by ambulance to a local hospital, including at least one small child with injuries.
The building department has also been dispatched to this scene to check the structural integrity of the building.
Avoid the area awhile or expect possible delays.
Per RPD: There is a multi vehicle accident with injuries at S Main and Salter. Please avoid the area until we can clear the scene.
