Based on the current information
That has currently been provided to us.
Police Told Community Members,
They Were Not Allowed To Know What Was Going On…
Major Scene, East Side
It happened overnight on Rockford’s East side.
All we can confirm is multiple people have reported they tried to ask police what was going on.
And several of them told us, Rockford PD REFUSED to tell the community any information.
Numerous officers were on scene.
Along Broadway and Charles st areas.
The community must of been in danger,
Based on how many officers were reported to be on scene.
We were told approx. 40 officers from multiple jurisdictions
Had a large perimeter setup.
Unknown why, or if the community is still in danger?
