Allegedly What May Have Happened:
Serious accident
Location: Woodstock and 76
Sources are reporting an alleged serious accident in Boone County.
It happened a short time ago
In the area of 76 and Woodstock.
Initial reports are saying there is an alleged serious accident.
Injuries were being reported.
Unconfirmed reports are saying alleged life saving measures were being performed on one person.
Officials have not yet released any information on this, to confirm anything.
Avoid the area for awhile…

On Friday, August 11, 2023 at approximately 12:48 am, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, along with Boone County District #2 Fire, responded to an accident at the intersection of Rt. 76 and Woodstock Rd.
Preliminary investigation shows that a Yamaha motorcycle, being driven by Gregory A. Kritz, 51 years old of Lake Geneva, WI, was traveling northbound on Rt. 76. A Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on Woodstock Rd. The Nissan stopped and then proceeded into the intersection, causing the Yamaha to strike the Nissan. Kritz was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Alcohol may be a factor in the accident. The accident remains under investigation and charges are possible in the future.
