Allegedly What May Have Happened: Auto Accident With Extrication
Location: Sage Hen Trail and McDonald Road/Roscoe
Time: 4:30 pm
At approximately 4:30 this afternoon emergency personnel were called to the area of Sage Hen Trail and McDonald Road in Roscoe for a very bad auto accident.
Initial reports are this was a two vehicle head on collision with vehicles having such extensive damage that extrication was needed for at least one person trapped inside.
Multiple ambulances have been dispatched to the scene, including MD1 because at least one person freed from being trapped inside a vehicle has life threatening injuries.
*Update: They are going to possibly request the medical helicopter 🚁
Avoid the area, the roads are going to be shut down for awhile…
We will update as further information is released.
UPDATE: One male was killed in this accident and pronounced dead on scene. He was the driver of the eastbound vehicle. His name hasn’t been released as of the time of this update.
Two female occupants of the westbound vehicle were taken to local hospitals for what are believed to be non life threatening injuries.
The cause of this accident is still under investigation.
