Allegedly What May Have Happened:
Alleged standoff
Location: 1400 block of 16th ave
Time: 5:40 pm
Details are dynamic.
Initial reports are saying there is a large police presence on the East side.
It happened around 5:40 pm
In the area of the 1400 block of 16th ave.
17th ave and 10th st is another location mentioned.
Unconfirmed reports are saying this is an alleged police stand off.
Unknown what happened, prior to the alleged standoff.
Avoid the area for awhile…
UPDATE from witnesses:
- 25 cop cars,
- 2 swat vehicles,
- 18 officers with rifles

Update Per RPD:
We have a large police presence at a residence the 1400 block of 16th Ave for a domestic situation. An adult male is still inside and we are in the process of negotiating with him. Please avoid the area
UPDATE @ 5:00 am Per RPD:
The adult male has exited the residence and is now in custody. Further details will follow when available.
