TRAFFIC CRASH UPDATE – On Saturday, July 29, 2023, RPD officers responded to the Mobil on Southrock Dr for reports of a 42-year-old female struck by a truck. Unfortunately, she has succumbed to her injuries. Original release below….
On Saturday, July 29, 2023, at approximately 9:15 p.m., Rockford
Police officers responded to the Mobil at 550 Southrock Drive for reports of a 42-year-old female
struck by a truck driven by Jacob Kane. Upon arrival, officers were advised that as she exited the
gas station, she was struck by the truck with a trailer, and transported to a local hospital. At the
time of this release, she is still listed in critical condition.
**(As of date of her passing, August the 4th, it appears Jacob Kane has bonded out of jail)
