Allegedly What May Have Happened: Possible Kidnapping
Location: 2500 S Alpine Rd, Dollar General
Time: Around 8:45 pm
We have received multiple reports and videos claiming a woman (of unknown age) was kidnapped last night at around 8:45 in the parking lot of Dollar General, located at 2500 S Alpine Road in Rockford.
A witness stated the alleged kidnappers were in a white panel van and snatched the woman coming out of the store in the parking lot.
RPD has released no information formally on this incident, but their call logs do confirm a “in progress person life safety” log at this location and time frame.
“In process person life safety” logs can cover multiple crimes, robberies, kidnappings, etc, where a persons life and safety was/is in danger.
If police release any information on this to verify, we will update.
In the meantime, if you have any information on this, please tell us in comments or messenger if you want to remain anonymous.
I hope this goes without saying, but if you have firsthand information on this possible kidnapping, please tell police ASAP!!!
