Sources are reporting an incident over the skies of Rockford.
It happened yesterday just before 10 am
A large Boeing 767 was coming to KRFD, From LAX.
The jet was a Boeing 767
That has a registration of ATN3597
That is registered to Air Transport.
It was coming in from the North to land on Runway 25
When a smaller Cessna 172
Registration CBN731T
That is registered to the Southern Illinois University
Was coming in from the South to land on Runway 25.
It appears the Cessna had the first clearance.
And was coming into land first.
The Boeing 767 had to make a sharp right hand turn,
And did a very sharp right hand loop
Over the skies of SE Rockford/Cherry Valley.
They both landed safely.
