Tragic update:
MURDER INVESTIGATION:
A 10-year-old juvenile female was found deceased
in the 1200 block of 9th Avenue earlier today.
We are currently speaking to a person of interest
and will provide further details when available.

Rockford PD has confirmed at this time.
Sources said earlier today,
A true monster was
Roaming the streets of Rockford.
It is alleged:
That monster allegedly kidnapped a 10 year old girl
in the 1200 block of 10th ave
Around noon today.
RPD logs do confirm a kidnapping call.
But RPD have not yet confirmed that if it is connected to this incident.
We do know the Rockford PD was investigating a “Missing Child”
So it is unclear if the missing child and the kidnapping calls
Are the same, or two separate incidents.
Rockford PD have not released that information to clarify things.
A short time later, Around 1 pm
She was allegedly found murdered in the 1200 block of 9th ave.
Rockford PD have confirmed they are working a murder investigation.

However, RPD have not said if the “person of interest” has been arrested.
Or if there is currently any danger to our community.
