Sad, that the Rockford PD does not understand simple concepts.

In order for people to TRUST you.
You have to do the following:

Not sit in parking lots
Actually RESPOND to calls
Pull people over
Make arrests
Drive around and just make yourself visible within the community
And I know this one is really really hard for alot of you,
But BE NICE to the community.
Yes, I know that is just super hard for most of you.
But being nice, actually does work…
But I will never expect any Rockford PD officer to understand that.
And another one that is completely obvious, even to a 2 year old.
DO NOT LIE to the community.

I have said it for years.
The community only needs to know the type of crime.
So they know how dangerous the suspect is.
And the suspect description. So they know who to report.

That is it.
But the Rockford PD chooses to not even do that.

And the Rockford PD wonders why more and more community members
don’t trust them and have turned against them.

NEWS FLASH: YOU are the only ones who can make improvements.
Community members can’t hold your fucking hand.
ONLY YOU can make those improvements.

And you continue to choose to be assholes to the community and lie to us.

Countless community members hate the police now.
