A Rockford man was charged with three counts of
Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon stemming from an incident at BJ’s Place (2842 11th Street)
last Friday, January 20, 2023. Officers responded to the bar for reports of a man with a handgun
inside. When officers arrived, they located Bradley Myhre, and after a brief struggle, he was taken
into custody. During the investigation, a loaded handgun was recovered from his person. He was
subsequently lodged in the County Jail.
After a review of the facts of the case, The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office
authorized the charges listed below.
Bradley Myhre, 32, Rockford
Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon (three counts)
Resisting Arrest
