THREE CONFIRMED DEAD, FIVE PEOPLE SHOT
RPD:
A 29 y/o male, an 18 y/o male and a 17 y/o male have succumbed to their injuries
sustained in the 2300 blk of 23rd St/4200 blk of Middlebury.
Two other individuals sustained serious GSW’s in the incident.
Please be patient as we continue our investigation
Officers are conducting shooting investigations in the 2300 block of 23rd St. and the 4200 block of Middlebury Ave.
Multiple individuals sustained life threatening gun shot wounds. We will update as more information becomes available.
UPDATE: There are 2 shooting scenes.

Unknown if they are related.

Sources are reporting at least one victim has passed away.
Total of 4 shooting victims.
1 passed away. (Unknown which scene)
Unknown on the condition of the other 3 shooting victims at this time.
Sources are reporting a major scene in Rockford.
It happened just before 5 pm near the 2300 block of 23rd st.
Reports of multiple shots fired, and multiple shooting victims.
Unknown on their injuries at this time.
At least three people have been shot.
This is a major scene, avoid the area.
