Sources are reporting a high speed police chase.

It happened this afternoon in Loves Park.

Several officers were in pursuit of a suspect that was fleeing in a vehicle.

Police were chasing the vehicle near the following areas:
Alpine, Forest Hills, Harlem, Perryville, Riverside areas.

Many officers were reported to be in the pursuit.

A police K-9 officer was also a part of the chase.

Last we heard, the chase was ongoing, in oncoming traffic near  Riverside.
And many officers were still in hot pursuit of the suspects.

Note: Police have been catching a lot of fleeing suspects lately.
We were told that the police have upgraded some of their technology.
To assist with high speed police chases in Winnebago County.
