According to the Winnebago County Jail inmates: http://inmates.winnebagosheriff.com/
We found an inmate by the name of Michael Paul Larue.
Based on the booking photo, timing for his booking, alleged charges and what I witnessed at the scene.
My opinion would be that this is the possible alleged individual from this scene.
You can cross reference the inmate photo and the video from the scene.
And you can form your own opinion. Same individual?
If officials release information. We will update this.
Below is the Winnebago County Jail booking information:
Sources are reporting a scene on the East side.
It happened overnight on 10th ave,
just East of 7th st.
Several officers had an individual detained on the ground,
in the middle of the roadway.
That individual was in handcuffs,
and then was escorted to a nearby squad.
(Update posted above, on the alleged charges)
Medical was on scene,
But it appeared that medical was not needed.
It appears that police used an unknown device,
(Possibly Stop Sticks) during the incident.
That device was underneath the alleged suspect vehicle,
That was parked on the Southside of the roadway.
It appears the device may have been entangled
in the undercarriage of the vehicle.
Shortly after the individual was detained.
Police recovered the device and put it back into their squad.
The device appeared to be extremely effective in stopping a fleeing vehicle.
If the vehicle was fleeing…
Several officer were searching the vehicle.
Unknown if anything was recovered at this time.
It is unknown if the vehicle is registered to the person who was in custody.
The vehicle police were searching, appeared to have possible dealer plates.
(Police have not yet released any information on the incident to confirm this.
