At approximately 5:30 this evening emergency personnel were called to the 700 block of Tampa Lane in Machesney Park for reports of a auto accident.
Initial reports are this was a one vehicle accident. The vehicle reportedly struck a guardrail.
Wires are also reported to be down in the area as a result of this accident.
The extent of any possible injuries is unknown.
