My opinion on what allegedly may have possibly happened, 
Based on the information that has been currently provided: 

Thank You Rockford PD, Rockford PD released the following information:

  On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at approximately 11:35 p.m., Rockford Police
officers responded to the 3300 block of Sablewood Drive for reports of shots fired. Upon arrival,
officers observed a 27-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the
foot. He advised that he did not know who shot him.

A short time later, Rockford Police SCOPE officers were searching the area and observed Christopher Outlaw, who
was walking in the area, then fled the area on foot..

He was taken into custody and during the arrest,
officers located and recovered a
loaded handgun on his person.
The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office reviewed the facts of the case and authorized
the charges listed below.
Christopher Outlaw, 36, Rockford Aggravated Battery with a Firearm
Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm
Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon
Possession of a Defaced Firearm
Resisting a Police Officer
Criminal Damage to Property

The charges against him are merely accusations. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty
in a court of law.

Sources are reporting another shooting in Rockford.

This happened around 10:45 pm near the 3300 block of Sablewood.

Initial reports are saying that shots were heard in the area.

One confirmed shooting victim.

Sources told us the victim in his late 20’s
And is reported to have been shot in his ankle area.

Rockford PD have not yet released any information on the incident or suspects.
