Possible Fire At the Old Courthouse Building
Around 11 pm tonight the Rockford FD responded to an alarm at 403 Elm st.
When the first units arrived on scene,
they confirmed heavy smoke on the alpha side in the basement area.
They upgraded the call to a general.
Reports of Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 6 and Ladder 1 and both chiefs on scene.
Possibly more units.
Update: Three ambulances total have been dispatched to this fire, there may be firefighters injured.
Fire was said to be under control at around midnight.
