My opinion on what allegedly may have possibly happened,
Based on the information that has been currently provided:

At approximately 8:00 this evening emergency personnel were called to the 1300 block of N Johnston Avenue in Rockford for reports of a possible double shooting with two victims. Initial reports are the shooting(s) were between neighbors on the block with a shooting victim at each address.

Multiple units were dispatched from the Rockford Fire Department, West Suburban, and Northwest Fire Protection District and the Rockford Police Department and Winnebago County Sheriffs Department (among other agencies) since this altercation was alleged to have happened between neighbors in the 1300 block of N Johnston Avenue, one address is considered in the city of Rockford and one address is considered county. Either way, the street is shut down on that end of N Johnston Avenue.

Reportedly one adult male shooting victim was located with one gunshot wound, possibly to the leg, the other victim, said have possibly been shot in the neck, wasn’t located on scene at either address. It’s possible the other shooting victim self transported to a local hospital.

The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
