Based on the information that has been currently provided:

At approximately 10:30 this evening emergency personnel were called to the area of E Jefferson Street and N 3rd Street in Rockford for a accident with multiple injuries.

Three ambulances were dispatched to the scene of a two vehicle accident, with three people being transported to the hospital by ambulance, two of those transported were children.

The extent of injuries is unknown but we are told the injuries are non life threatening.

Avoid the area awhile or expect possible delays.
