City of Rockford:
ROCK BLASTING TO RESUME AT QUARRY:

William Charles Construction has resumed work at its East State Street quarry location. We anticipate rock blasting will occur approximately every three to four weeks until the end of December, during State Street quarry’s normal operating hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The first blast is scheduled for October 31, weather and schedule permitting. If you have questions or concerns, please contact William Charles at 815-654-4721.
