My opinion on what may have possibly happened,
Based on the information that has been currently provided:

At approximately 8:45 this evening there was reports of a vehicle possibly on fire in the 1900 block of Ohio Pkwy.
The vehicle reportedly ran into a couple of parked vehicles in the roadway, the driver then was said to have fled on foot.

The abandoned vehicle was reportedly smoking, but no active fire was seen upon arrival of the fire department.

The extent of damage is unknown.
