Based on the information that has been currently provided:
Reports of numerous vehicles that have been stolen in Winnebago County in the last 72 hours.
The video above, is a suspect trying to steal one vehicle, near the Rockford Airport.
We have been told that the Rockford Airport area, has had several “incidents” lately.
Winnebago County Sheriff Office does not provide any information to the public.
So obviously we can not confirm anything.
Police call logs confirm 17 different vehicles that have been stolen, just in the last 72 hours.
