The Boone County Sheriff’s Office has received several calls
about a natural gas odor in the area of Rt 173 and Poplar Grove Rd
over the past few weeks.
Nicor is aware and has inspected the issue.
They have informed us there is no danger to anyone
and they are working on a plan to correct the issue.
