The City of Beloit Police Department is investigating the theft of a vehicle while a 10-year-old child with special needs was in the vehicle. The vehicle, a 2016 black Nissan Sentra, was running when it was stolen from the 800 block of Johnson Street at 7:06 p.m. Tuesday night

The vehicle was located in the 100 block of Eighth Street at 7:46 p.m. and the child was safely located in the 1900 block of Fairfax Avenue at 7:47 p.m.

This is an active and ongoing investigation. If anyone has information about the theft of this vehicle, please contact us at 608-757-2244

Rockford Scanner™: Rockford Police Worked Several Scenes Tonight

Sources are reporting the Rockford police have worked several scenes today .

  • 3800 block of Thyme Drive:   Rockford police confirmed and aggravated battery.
  • 10th St. and 20th Ave.: Rockford police confirmed and aggravated battery
  • Church and Morgan Street:  Rockford police confirmed and attempted burglary to a vehicle.
  • 2700 block of Marshall Street: Rockford police confirmed an “in progress person”
  • 1800 block of 16th Ave.: Rockford police confirmed an “in progress person”
  • 2600 block of Charles Street: Rockford police confirmed an “in progress person”
  • Rockford police recovered stolen vehicles in these locations: 700 block of N. Bell School Rd. and the 4600 block of Red Bluff Dr.
  • 300 block of Underwood: Rockford police confirm “other disorderly”
  • Several emergency personnel tried to serve a warrant in the 3200 block of Glenwood Avenue
  • 1300 block of Magnolia Street: Rockford police confirmed a missing adult, but did not provide a description of the missing adult
  • 800 block of Barnum: Rockford police confirmed an “in progress person”
  • 900 block of Harrison ave: Rockford police confirmed an “in progress person”

Rockford Scanner™: Suspects Rob and Rape A Woman In Rockford

RPD labeled this violent call as “Check for well being”

Sources have told us that the men severely beat the victim (Aggravated Battery charge with great bodily harm) RPD said non life threatening injuries. Suspects got away with $95 in cash and a link card.

35 year old Randy Bray and 41 year old Anzio King have been arrested

Both men are now charged two counts each of aggravated battery, residential burglary, home invasion, and armed robbery. King faces additional charges of criminal sexual assault and unlawful restraint.

Sources reporting a group of men broke into a residence and raped a woman in Rockford.  It happened approx. 3 am on Monday morning in the 2200 block of 7th st in Rockford.

The suspects robbed the victim and one of them raped the woman.

The suspects then fled the scene.

Rockford Scanner™: Attempted Kidnapping In Rockford, Still Developing

Sources reporting an attempted kidnapping near Jefferson and Oakley in Rockford.  It happened around 5:30 pm

Details are minimal, due to the police encryption. 

Safe to assume the suspect got away and still roaming the streets of Rockford.  RPD has yet to release information. 

After posting this, we got reports from sources of another attempted kidnapping incident that happened in Rockford, on Thursday.  It happened near Welsh elementary.  Unknown if these incidents are related.

*UPDATE: Sources reporting the incident happened near N Church and Burton  and the suspect from this incident is described a man with purple hair in a red vehicle

Rockford Police has yet to release information on this incident as well.

Rockford Scanner™: Woman Possibly Kidnapped Downtown Rockford, While She Snap Chats Saying Someone Is Following Her

UPDATE: RPD still has yet to release information on this.  But sources are reporting the woman in the video is now home safe. We can not confirm this yet, but wanted to give everyone an update. 

Several sources have contacted us and sent us the snap chat video of a woman who was allegedly downtown last night. While she was downtown, she snap chatted and said someone is following me and then the screen goes dark and you can hear muffled screams in the video.

We can not confirm this is true, but wanted to share just in case it was. 

RPD confirms there was a “Check for well being, at 205 W State just after 2 am. No other details were provided by the RPD and will not confirm nor deny if it is related to this video. 

If you see this woman or know anything, please call the police. 

The sheriff made a statement on this kind of stuff the other day ~
