Rockford Scanner™: Suspects Vandalize A Local Store, Possible New Trend

Sources are reporting that a local store was vandalized on Sunday afternoon.

Three females allegedly went into the gas station at S Alpine and Linden on Sunday afternoon. They destroyed many items in the store.

Then they ran away laughing about what they had just done.

Sources said the police have video of the incident and also the suspects license plate number, but sources said the police were not interested in investigating this case.  Just took the report on it.

The employee that was working was highly distraught and crying.

This is the 13th incident we have heard about in the last few months, about something similar happening in other local stores as well. It seems to be a trend locally, because of how often it happens.

We have asked the police in the past about these incidents, and they refused to comment on the incidents.

Rockford Scanner™: Police Working A Scene in Loves Park

Email your tips and photo to us at RockfordScanner@Gmail.com

Sources said around 5 pm there were several officers working a scene at the Cash Store at N Second and Windsor. They said it appeared to be a robbery to the business. But for obvious reasons, we cant confirm it. Police did confirm there was a scene there, but said it was an “alarm (non specific)” The same type of call the bank robbery not to long ago was.

Rockford Scanner™: Police Warn Citizens Of More Fake Money Circulating The Area, Be Careful

Good morning Beloit! We hope you are able to enjoy this beautiful day.

We are in need of your help, and we have some info to pass along. The subject seen in the below photo has passed counterfeit bills at a couple of different stores around the city. The bills are marked “For Motion Picture Use Only.” The bills do look somewhat similar to real currency, but do not feel the same, and obviously the words on the bill are clear indicators of the bills being fake.

If you are a cashier, always take one extra second to look for those indications that the bill may not be legitimate. This subject has been rejected by some very astute clerks, but he has been able to use a couple of them. Please be careful.

Thanks for your help. If you know who the suspect is please refer to BE1820607. Thanks.

Sergeant Flanagan
