Sources are reporting a house fire in Boone County.

It happened around 5 pm in the 700 block of S Main in Belvidere.

Reports of a house on fire. Initial reports are saying smoke and flames are showing. No other information at this time.

UPDATE:  The trailer had a previous fire there 3 months ago. And somehow caught back on fire again.  The scene was quickly handled and under control. No injuries were being reported.

Sources are reporting a trailer fire.

It happened just after 10 pm tonight in the area of South Main and Blue Lake ave. Several area fire departments are en route to assist in battling the fire. Unknown on injuries at the time of writing this. This is still developing. The cause of the fire in under investigation.



Rockford Scanner™: Several Violent Crimes in Rockford. One Person Shot, One Victim Stabbed, Robbery, etc…

Rockford Police are investigating 2 violent crimes that happened on Saturday.

  • One person was shot in the 1800 block of S Main.
  • And a stabbing victim at Mercy Hospital on N Rockton ave.

Unknown on the victims conditions and no suspect information.

No other information at this time.

  • Armed robbery in the 3900 block of Eagle Drive

Sources are reporting several officers working scenes at the following locations.  Police have yet to release any info on any of these scenes.

  • Brooke and Bildahl
  • Mulford and Spring Creek
  • 7th st and 11th ave
  • Vermont and Montrose
  • 1800 block of Carney ave

Rockford Scanner™: Trailer on Fire, Fully Engulfed. MABAS Toned Out

Sources are reporting a fully engulfed structure fire.

It happened around 3:50 am this morning near S Main and Gold River.

Note: This is the same area a local firefighter was arrested for allegedly setting several trailers on fire recently.

There is a trailer fully engulfed.  They have toned out a MABAS and several area fire departments are en route.

Unknown if the trailer is occupied.

Sources are reporting a stolen vehicle fled from officers in Rockford.

It happened near Welden and Lincoln ave around 10:25 pm

Vehicle is described as a Dark grey Toyota with a plate # of AU85819

It was occupied by 3 suspects.

Sources are reporting a mobil home on fire in South Rockford.

It happened in the 800 block of Blue Lake ave just after 10 am.

Several fire departments are responding to a trailer that is on fire.

Unknown on injuries.
Several units from several fire departments are responding.

Smoke and flames are showing. Reports of smoke can be seen at least a mile away.

They are upgrading this to a MABAS.

Rockford Scanner™: Sources Reporting 2 Scenes in Rockford, Possible Shooting & Police Chase

Sources are reporting 2 different scenes.

1st scene is near Carthage, that is near Alpine and Harrison. Sources said there was a shooting incident. Numerous gunshots were heard in the area.

2nd scene is near the laundromat on S Main. Sounds like someone might of fled from police and police had a perimeter setup.  Police had a dark colored vehicle stopped in from of the laundromat. And had officers setup for several blocks. Unknown on the suspect description at this time.

That is located in the Gem Suburban Mobile Home Park on S Main

Unknown how bad the fire is at the time of writing this.

Rockford Scanner™: Rockford Fire Department were dispatched for a building that partially collapsed in Rockford




Early this morning the Rockford Fire Department were dispatched for a building that partially collapsed in Rockford. 

It happened in the 800 block of S Main. 

The debris from the collapse, landed on the nearby sidewalk and roadway. 

Thankfully no one was injured. 

Unknown why the structure partially collapsed.
